I’ve done two big shifts with the good people of Shelter (In-House Creative Team of the Year, no less), making important noises about social housing, elections, injustice, opportunity, domestic violence and cake.
We managed to persuade all manner of celebrities (Oasis! Adele! Sir Paul bloody McCartney!) to appear in our film this year, which has just dropped. The first social housing film picked up 3 million views, with thousands of people flooding the internet with their pride in being #MadeinSocialHousing. It also won Gold at the Drums, and was 100% directly responsible for persuading the new government to commit to building 1.5 million more social homes.
We can do more than flog phones and toothpaste.
